Lexi's Bat Mitzvah

What a fabulous feeling I get when I work with a family for many years. On Saturday the 10th Donna & I were at Lexi's Bat Mitzvah. We started early in the morning at Temple Beth Am. We then went to Philmont Country Club were we were joined by my video crew John & my partner Louis. Lexi's grandpop (may he rest in peace) was our family Doctor for many years & an extremely wonderful man. We 1st worked for the family when Louis photographed Lexi's Uncle Ed's Bar Mitzvah. We went on to photograph her parents wedding & her Uncle Ed & Vicki's wedding & now here we are at Lexi's Bat Mitzvah. The crowd was kept on the dance floor by Mark from Cutting Edge DJ's. A great time was had by all!

Mission Kids

Last night Donna & I had the pleasure of photographing the fund raising event for Mission Kids. They are a non-profit Child Advocacy Center for child abuse in Montgomery County. The event was held at the beautiful Merion Tribute House with with Leslie Rosen Caterers providing the fabulous food. There was entertainment provided by The Quaker Dozen an accopella choir & a DJ from Norma Michaels Entertainment. Pat Ciarrocchi was the program moderater, Risa Vetri-Ferman the DA of Montgomery County is the President of the Board of Directors & Abbie Newman the Executive Director of Mission Kids. It was a fun filled evening and with the help of all the sponsors & donors they raised a lot of money for the Center.

BCA

It's BCA (Business Clubs America) time again! For those of you that follow my blogs you know that every 2 months very early on a Friday morning the BCA has breakfast meetings at the Union League. We always have great motivational speakers & this morning was no exception. We had Coach Jon Gruden talk to us & boy did he pump the crowd up. I always stay after the presentation to take photos of our members with the speaker & today the line was the longest I've ever seen it. While I was taking the photos I had to let CBS borrow Jon to do an interview. Our member David Neff the president of Neff Associates our PR firm set up the TV coverage. It is also the 1st time I was ever in a photo & David gets the credit for that. The Philadelphia chapter of the BCA is owned by Ron Jaworski & run by his daughter Joleen. It is the best business development resource ever.

Brigid & Tom

On March 13th, Donna & I had the pleasure of photographing the Wedding of Brigid & Tom. It was the 1st large Wedding at a brand new & ultra exciting venue on the top floor of the Piers at Caesars in Atlantic City. The One Atlantic venue is right over the ocean & the views are simply spectacular. Ten Pennies did the flowers & added to the beauty of the rooms. Brigid & Tom were a pleasure to work with & we took hundreds of great photographs. I am fortunate to be on the very exclusive vendor list at this very beautiful facility.

Xmas Lights

Every year at xmas time on my way home from visiting my Mom in the nursing home I pass this fabulous house. I never have my camera with me. This year I remembered to bring it so I could show everyone the phenomenal decorations. It is located on Butler Pike in Ambler close to where 309 intersects. It is truly a sight to behold. Happy New Year to all!

On the night before Thanksgiving I convinced my boyfriend Steve to help me carry my equipment to photograph family groups on location. Of course I had to bribe him with dinner & dancing at the Moshulu. The Jaworski family needed portraits in their Live United T- shirts for the United Way. Well after following google maps & going 20 miles out of the way we arrived & set up. I have been working with the family for about 3 years now & have such a good time with them. One of my favorite photos was when I had Joleen put the T-shirt on her dog.

On November 7th my favorite employee Melissa got married. Her husband Mark is a prince of a guy he is always sending her flowers just because he loves her. She is truly a special young lady & has been with me since college. The church was in Paoli & had the most beautiful stained glass windows. The reception was in the Waterford Ballroom at the Valley Forge Radisson. Donna & I were guests as well as photographers & the food was delicious. The DJ had the crowd on the floor all night.
