BCA July

OMG! This month's speaker at the breakfast was Peter Vidmar who was the highest scoring gymnast in Olympic history. It has been 27 years since the 1984 Olympic games when he finished his career & you would not believe the shape he's in. He actually had a pommel horse set up on stage & showed us some of his moves. I'm not sure exactly how old he is now but what he did amazed me at any age. We had a sell out crowd which included Tracy Davidson of NBC 10 & of course the famous Ron Jaworski. What an group to be a part of! I get inspired a every event.

Katie & Steve

Donna & I fell in love with Katie & Steve when we did their engagement photos at the lakes in South Philly. We couldn't wait to photograph their wedding which took place on July 9th at the beautiful Downtown Club. The photo of Katie alone was even taken in the bathroom of the club. We had a gorgeous day, hot with low humidity but even so we tried to stay in the shade for the photos. The ceremony was officiated by a Rabbi & a Priest so I guess their really, really married! The party rocked with music provided by CTO 5th Avenue. I hope we will be able to work with them in the future.

The BCA outdid itself with one of the best motivational speakers ever! His name is Kivi Bernhard & I encourage everyone to go to his website & get a copy of his book Leopardology. It will definitely help improve your bottom line.

Hailey

On Friday, Donna & I went to the park with my studio manager Melissa , her Niece Hailey & her mommy & daddy. This baby was the most fun ever! She posed & laughed & never cried at all no matter how many times we changed her outfits. At 10 months old that is quite an accomplishment! We fell in love with her & when we were finished we had to pry her away from Donna. We can't wait to photograph her again.

Mimi's Surprise

My friend Mimi's husband Rafi made the most fabulous surprise birthday party for her at the spectacular new venue in Northern Liberties Tendenza. Mimi was so shocked when she walked into the room. The place looks like a NY night club & the DJ had the crowd on the floor all night. I won't say how old she is now but my business partner met Mimi when she was 17 & he was photographing her sisters wedding. It was a fun night for all!

Mer & Scott's Wedding

What a fabulous rainy day! We all kept our spirits high & ignored the weather on Saturday, April 16th. We had Mer & Scott's wedding to celebrate. Even though they had their hearts set on portraits in Rittenhouse Square we got permission to use the beautiful lobby of the Ben Franklin. We then went to Cescaphe for the ceremony & the reception & as usual the room looked breathtaking. The crowd was kept on the dance floor all night with one of the EBE bands Rio led by Jonathan Harwood.

March's BCA events started out with a speaker reception at The Hub City View. Our host for the evening was Allied Mortgage. The venue is gorgeous & the views of the city spectacular. We were treated to the song styling of Wendy Monaco from Allied. If the mortgage business stops working for her she can take her singing career on the road. Friday morning we had our breakfast meeting at the Union League. We have a new member in
Advanced Staging Productions & the room looked fabulous. Our VIP member was Corner 2 Corner Construction and since the Jaworski's were out of town celebrating a special birthday our friend Don Tollefson was the MC. Our speaker was Mark Mayfield who is known as "The Corporate Comedian".He has shared the stage with many celebrities and has introduced the President of the United States on a live, nationwide television broadcast. He gave a very funny presentation and had the entire room laughing.
